* Glycated hemoglobin (A1C): This A1C test is done to find if you have control on diabetes or blood sugar over a period of time. The test gives average blood sugar for the past three months. It is the percentage of your hemoglobin which is sugar coated. The normal range should be 4 to 6 percent for non diabetics and lower than 7 percent among diabetics. It should be less than 6 percent during pregnancy.
